Bergamo police arrested a 20-year-old Albanian in the act, who was found with 75 kg of drugs kept in a garage of a building in Pedrengo. The 20-year-old is illegal in Italian territory and has a criminal record, after he was arrested in Rome last November for possession of cocaine.
The investigation against the Albanian stems from a report by some residents of the area, who suspected a coming and going of cars and individuals with an unclear attitude.
For this reason, special surveillance services were organized, which resulted in the discovery of a large amount of narcotics early in the morning. In fact, one of the monitored cars entered a garage where the officers who intervened found 60 kg of hashish and approximately 15 kg of marijuana that the subject was loading into the car.
In this case, a money counting machine, 4 GPS trackers and packaging material were found and seized. A mobile phone and a car were also seized, all related to drug trafficking. The arrested person was then escorted to the local jail.
