A 30-year-old man was arrested red-handed in Mallakastër today by the police, after he was driving a vehicle, armed with a firearm.
During the control of the vehicle of the 30-year-old, identified as Albert Kodhelaj, the police found and confiscated 1 firearm, a pistol, with a comb with military ammunition.
" The services of the Mallakastër Police Station, following the work to prevent and combat criminal activity in the field of illegal possession of weapons, based on the information provided by the police intelligence that a citizen was moving around the city with a weapon, have set up checkpoints, and have organized the work for his capture and arrest. As a result, a citizen of AK, 30 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested in the act ," the police announced.
The arrest of the 30-year-old, a resident of Tirana, was made within the operational plan "Rule of Law".
