Pavlin Preka was 19 years old when he was murdered in his apartment on February 26, 2025 in the village of Guci e Re in Shkodra.
He was madly in love with a 13-year-old girl for whom he sought her family's approval to marry.
The show "Në Shënjestër" broadcast this Tuesday details from the investigative file where, according to information from people close to the victim, during the first search at the scene, 6 9 mm pistol cartridges were found near the victim's body.
From the initial examination of the scene, the 19-year-old had been shot with several pistol bullets at close range, upon entering his apartment.
Which led criminal experts to suggest that he had been guarded until his arrival at the apartment.
Or someone had accurately informed the shooter about the victim's movements and the fact that he had made his way home.
But for the investigative group, the murder of this young man had an unclear motive.
This is due to the fact that he was not registered and had no criminal past or present. He was not even known in the area as a contingent involved in the cultivation of narcotics.
The first person to be questioned about the crime was the victim's uncle.
Nikollë Preka, who had the apartment next to his brother's, where Pavlini currently lived.
Where, as he heard the explosions, he was the first to run to see what had happened.
And where he found his nephew murdered on the doorstep.
"Pavlin's family lives in the village of Gjuraj-Plan, in the Pult Administrative Unit, Shkodra Municipality. I have the apartment next to Pavlin's. When I went to see who was in the apartment, I saw that the door was open. There I saw Pavlin lying on the ground," the victim's uncle told the police.
Nikollë Preka further said that as the victim's uncle, he had no information about who the perpetrators of his nephew's murder could be.
But he certainly knew very well who the people his brother's son was associating with were.
This was also due to the fact that the village was small and every movement there was known.
One of these people was Klaudio Lisaj.
Close friend of Pavlin.
Who were almost always seen together in the village and outside it in each other's company.
A daily routine that everyone knew.
This is where another story begins and takes shape.
So complicated but also difficult to understand.
How the victim Pavlin Preka had fallen in love with a girl a few years younger than him.
Who was actually the daughter of Klaudio Lisaj's uncle, the friend with whom he spent almost every day of his life in the village.
Pavlini i cili nuk e kishte lënë me kaq sevdanë e tij për vajzën që e kishte marrosur, por bashkë me xhaxhain e tij, Nikollën, kishin shkuar edhe t’i kërkonin dorën.
“Rreth dy vite më parë, nipi im Pavlini më tha se pëlqente një vajzë nga Pog-u dhe më kërkoi që të shkonim dhe t’i lypnim dorën. Unë pranova dhe bashkë me Pavlinin shkuam te familja e vajzës, babai i së cilës është Vasel Koçeku, ku qëndruam rreth një orë”, ka vijuar në deklaratën e tij, xhaxhai i Pavlin Prekës.
Sipas rrëfimit të xhaxhait të viktimës, babai i vajzës, të cilës ai nuk ia mban mend emrin, edhe pse i priti mirë, nuk u dha një fjalë atë ditë.
Por ai zgjodhi t’i përcjellë, duke u thënë se për mirë a për keq, do u çonte haber së shpejti nëpërmjet personave të tjerë.
Lajm që nuk vonoi të vijë, por që nuk la aspak të kënaqur kërkuesit. Të cilët nga ana e tyre prisnin një sihariq ndryshe, të gëzueshëm. Gjë që sipas xhaxhait të tij pezmatoi më së shumti vetë Pavlinin.
“Në atë kohë Pavlini ka qenë rreth 18 vjeç. Pasi u larguam ata na dërguan fjalë se nuk kishin asgjë kundra nesh si familje dhe si miq ‘por vajza është e vogël’. Për këtë arsye e mbyllëm si muhabet dhe nuk shkuam përsëri”, u shpreh në polici, Nikolin Preka.
Por ndërsa xhaxhai thotë se e mbylli këtë bisedë, kjo nuk ndodhi me Pavlinin i cili mesa duket nuk kishte ndërmend të hiqte dorë kaq kollaj nga vajza, të cilën ndjente se e dashuronte.
Ndërkohë që nga ajo sa kuptohet ai nuk i kishte thënë as babait të tij lidhur mbi faktin që dashuronte një vajzë dhe kërkonte të martohej me të. Ashtu sikurse del se nuk e kishte njoftuar as për faktin që do shkonte bashkë me xhaxhain e tij t’i kërkonte dorën. Gjë që e rrëfeu në dëshminë e tij përpara grupit hetues vetë xhaxhai i Pavlinit.
Ditën që lypëm vajzën te familja e Vasel Koçekut, unë shkova te banesa e vëllait tim në fshatin Gjuraj dhe i thashë se ishim te Koçekët për të kërkuar dorën e vajzës së tij, për Pavlinin.
Por vëllai im Pjetri më tha se Pavlini nuk i kishte treguar gjë për këtë fakt. Ndërkohë që i thashë se ëma e vajzës që Pavlini kërkon të martohet është halla e dy shokëve të tij, Klaudio dhe Flori Lisaj”, thotë në dëshminë e tij xhaxhai i viktimës.
Por edhe pse iu kërkua të hiqte dorë nga vajza që dashuronte, Pavlin Preka nga sa kuptohet, jo vetëm nuk e bëri një gjë të tillë, por kishte ndërtuar në kokë edhe plane se si ta bënte të vetën përgjithmonë.
Kjo edhe kundra dëshirës së familjes së saj.
Ndoshta me bindjen se koha do të ishte ilaçi më i mirë dhe situatat do të vinin dhe do të normalizoheshin, pasi ai ta kishte bërë fakt të kryer lidhjen e tij me vajzën.
“Më datë 26 Shkurt 2025, rreth orës 10.30, Pavlini më mori në telefon dhe më tha se do ta grabiste vajzën e Vaselit.
"For my part, I told him to be careful, be careful that they are a strong tribe. But Pavlini cut me off, telling me that no one has any business with you, that I will sort out my own affairs. Meanwhile, on the other hand, Pavlini told me to be careful for 3-4 days, until the situation is clarified," says the testimony of Pavlin Preka's brother, Alfonsi.
So it seems that Pavlin's family was already fully aware of his plan to kidnap the girl.
While it remains unclear at this point whether the girl agreed with this plan or not?
Or was Pavlin so obsessed with this girl that he was taking this dangerous initiative without her knowledge or desire?
But what is implied by his brother's accounts is that Pavlini, after first going to the Koçeku family with his uncle, went again over the months to ask for the girl's hand in marriage, this time with her uncle.
"What I want to say is that to my knowledge, Pavlini sought out this girl not only when he first went with our uncle, but a few months later, when he went with the girl's uncle, Nikolini, to the Kocek family.
"The second time I don't know what answer they gave me," he told the police.
The victim's brother further revealed that Pavlini was so crazy that he had even started writing the girl's name on stones in the village, openly expressing his love for her, despite the family's opposition.
Something that probably won't have gone unnoticed by the girl's family.
But also the village itself, which was already aware of Pavlin's continued liking for the Koçeks' daughter.
As well as their categorical stance on giving their daughter to the 19-year-old.
"One day, while passing by a place called 'Ura e Beut', which is located near Pavlin's apartment in the village of Guci e Re, I saw 'A***** Love' written on the asphalt. An expression that a friend told me Pavlin had written," the investigative file states, referring to the testimony of Pavlin Preka's brother.
But Pavlini was so obsessed with this girl that he even went so far as to tattoo her name on his neck.
Something his friends also knew,
Among them were the girl's cousins, with whom he socialized.
But Pavlin's madness had no intention of stopping there.
Because, as one of the friends he was hanging out with says, he was looking for an apartment to stay with the girl, after he had kidnapped her. And he didn't keep this plan a secret at all.
