New details have been revealed about the tragic accident on the Tepelenë-Memaliaj road, where four people lost their lives and several others were injured.
Three vehicles were involved in the fatal accident, a Toyota Yaris, a BMW and a Benz.
It is learned that the two injured people, Lavdie and Jani Meta, who are admitted to the Trauma Hospital in the capital, were related to the two victims, Lavdosh and Lefteri Begaj.

The son of the Meta couple was married to one of the daughters of the Begaj couple. Meanwhile, it is known that the 90-year-old Afërdita Meta, who died, was the mother of the seriously injured Jani Meta.
Both families were going to have dinner at the "SAJMOLA" restaurant near the village of Peshtan.
The Krushks would have dinner to celebrate because they had become grandparents of their children, as it is learned that the bride of the house had been born, practically the daughter of Lavdosh and Lefteri Begajt.
The three victims, husband and wife Lavdosh and Leftri Begaj, 90-year-old Afërdita Metaj and the two seriously injured Jani and Lavdie Metaj were all in the "Toyota Yiaris" car.
Meanwhile, the fourth victim is the driver of the "Benz" that also caused the tragic accident, Riza Rrapaj. He also died at the scene.

The accident happened in the "bypass" of Tepelena, below the fortress of this city, which is part of the Tepelena-Gjirokastër national axis.
At one point, due to the wetness on the road, but also the high speed, Riza Rrapaj lost control over the vehicle and went to the opposite side of the road, colliding with the "Toyota Yaris" vehicle driven by Lavdosh Begaj and a " BMV" that was behind, where the director of ARRSH Gjirokastër Andi Shkurta was traveling with his wife and driver.
The collision of the vehicles was so strong that the front of the "Benz" was completely destroyed, while the "Toyota Yaris" vehicle was completely crushed, remaining between the two vehicles.
