New details have emerged from the investigation into the execution of 50-year-old Edmond Sula in Bërxullë. According to sources from the investigation group, preliminary suspicions are that the assassination was organized by hired killers, based on the planned manner of execution and the perpetrator's movements after the crime.
According to the investigation, the perpetrator waited for the victim near the apartment and acted when Sula got out of the vehicle and was entering the yard. It is suspected that he shot him in the head with a bullet, causing his instant death.
Security camera footage captured the perpetrator fleeing the scene on foot. Investigators suspect that he was later picked up by other people in a vehicle who helped him escape.
Edmond Sula was a well-known name to the State Police. According to records, he had previously been prosecuted for several criminal offenses, including beatings, robberies, and other conflicts.
