A 37-year-old man has been arrested by police in Lezha after he physically assaulted his parents. It is reported that during the police intervention, 37-year-old Mikel Biba threatened police officers with a machete.
"He was physically violent towards his parents and resisted police officers during an intervention to prevent violence, the perpetrator is being arrested."
The 37-year-old, armed with a cutting tool (machete), threatened police officers in an attempt to prevent their arrest.
The Special Forces "Eagle" in cooperation with the Lezha Police Commissariat Services, upon receiving a notification that a citizen was raping his parents, immediately went to the given address. During the intervention, the citizen MB, violently opposed the Police officers and threatened them with a cutting tool (machete), in order not to arrest him.
Thanks to the quick response of the Police officers, it was possible to neutralize the 37-year-old man and remove the machete.
Following the actions, the Crime Investigation Specialists at the Lezha Police Station arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen: MB, 37 years old, resident of Tale, Lezha for the criminal offense of "Domestic Violence", "Opposing a Police Officer" and "Threat".
"The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Lezha, for further action," the police announced.
