The complete investigation file for the drug trafficking group from Latin America towards Europe, recently hit by SPAK, has been disclosed. "On September 29, 2020, Ervin Mata tells his interlocutors that a quantity of 240 kg has been seized and seized, and to wait for it to appear in the newspaper tomorrow. Ervin Mata, it is evident that he also has communications with the citizen Eralbi Breçan, whom he guides in relation to the activity of narcotics trafficking", the intercepts say.
One of these conversations between Ervin Mata and Eralbi Breçan is the one dated August 10, 2020. Where Mata expresses to Breçan, with whom he also has family relations, that he is dissatisfied with the work he has done, related to the trafficking of a quantity narcotics.
"On August 10, 2020 at 13:39, Ervin Mata sends messages to Eralbi Breçan with the following content: Mata: I want everything transparent with me.
You understood when it was long at 27, you gave it to me at 23 in Valencia, you told me 12..."
But interesting in this whole history of wiretapping, drug trafficking and crime, is also the involvement of Erzen Breçani, once a senior police director in Tirana. The episode for which he is accused by SPAK is related to the help he gave at one point to Bujar Gërmizi with the surname Ajeti. Whom he informs that he is under surveillance by the police.
"In August 2020, the citizen Erzen Breçani contacted the person under investigation, Bujar Ajeti, and informed him that he is being monitored by the General Directorate of the State Police, when they were together at Bar 'Stani' in Kukës. Bujar Ajeti, after receiving this information from Erzen Breçani, equipped her with a phone with the SkyECC application, a code which it is evident that she started using on August 17, 2020 at 12:41, when she had her first conversation with Bujar The verse", the file says.
But who is Bujar Gërmizi, who, according to the file compiled by SPAK, stands at the head of the structured criminal group, which includes current and former police officers, involved in cocaine trafficking from South America to Europe, as well as other serious crimes that occurred in Albania and abroad.
Germizi, which turns out to be one of the most suggestive names of crime in the north-northeast of the country, in the Kukës area. Gërmizi, who bore the changed surname Ajeti, who had served in his early years of work as an officer of the Republic Guard, also as part of the group accompanying politicians. But an event in which he was involved in 1999 in Kukës, related to the robbery of a bank, finally pushed him into the arms of crime. And further in the history of drug trafficking. Work for which he was arrested twice in Kosovo and Macedonia and escaped from prisons in these two countries as many times. While recently, according to SPAK, he was said to be making plans for the murder of two brothers who live in Great Britain, with whom Ismail Zeneli had old enmity, after they had killed his brother.
Bujar Gërmizi together with Xelal Domin (security guard of the Savings Bank in Kukës) as well as the latter's brother-in-law, robbed the Bank in 1999. During the clash with the police, Xhelal Domi and his brother-in-law were killed, while Bujar Gërmizi was also injured, who was then arrested in the village of Gorozhub in Kosovo. While he was in Prizren prison, he raised a prison revolt, which was suppressed by the security forces. Gërmizi was extradited to Albania and spent some time in prison. Bujar Gërmizi was arrested in North Macedonia for drug trafficking, where he escaped from Idrizova prison.
But while he was doing these jobs and was connected to politics, it turns out that Bujar Gërmizi did not have his ties to crime severed. He appears in conversations that he has helped the hired killer, Nuredin Dumani, to get out several times

Erzen Breçani ka komunikuar edhe me djalin e tij Eralbi Breçani, i identifikuar si përdorues i SkyECCçS7DEGI. Rezulton se shtetasi Eralbi Breçani është i fejuar me shtetasen E.M, e cila është motra e Ervin Matës dhe për shkak të kësaj marrëdhënie, shtetasi Erzen Breçani ka hyrje e dalje familjare tek familja e Ervin Matës. Në biseda ai i referohet Ervin Matës si “Vini” apo “Ervini” dhe babai të Ervinit si “Luan”apo “L”. Erzen Breçani ka komunikuar edhe me djalin e tij Eralbi Breçani, i identifikuar si përdorues i Sky ECC.
Rezulton se Eralbi Breçani është i fejuar me shtetasen E.M, e cila është motra e Ervin Matës dhe për shkak të kësaj marrëdhënie, shtetasi Erzen Breçani ka hyrje e dalje familjare tek familja e Ervin Matës. Në biseda ai i referohet Ervin Matës si ‘Vini’ apo ‘Ervini’ dhe babai të Ervinit si ‘Luan’ apo ‘L’. Me datë 14 Gusht 2020 ora 14:37, Bujar Ajeti i tregon një personi tjetër që tek lokali ku qëndrojnë ato, policia ka vënë përgjues dhe informacionin e ka marrë nga Erzen Breçani”.
Gërmizi dërgon mesazhet:
‘…Sdi qa me të than… E paskan pas bombardu stanin e hoxhës…Me përgjusa….’. Rreth përgjimit që i kanë bërë Bujar Ajetit, jep të dhëna edhe Nuredin Dumani në deklarimin e datës 17 Tetor 2023 ku ndër tjera deklaron: ‘…Po ashtu, kam takuar edhe Erzen Breçanin, 2 apo 3 herë në Kukës në një bar restorant në qendër të Kukësit. Erzeni me sa më kishte fol Bujari, ishte shok i ngushtë i tij pasi kishin punuar edhe bashkë në polici në repartin Renea. Erzeni e ndihmonte Bujarin me informacione në rastet kur policia vinte në Kukës për të arrestuar Bujarin apo persona të tjerë, pasi vetë Bujari ishte në kërkim për arratisje nga burgu në Maqedoni’.
Po kështu në një tjetër bisedë, Erzen Breçani, del se i tregon të birit edhe për telefonin që po përdorte. Si edhe për mikun që ia kishte mundësuar. Që në këtë rast ishte Bujar Gërmizi.

SPAK says that Erzen Brecani then received the amount of 350 thousand euros from his son and bought the turbines for HEC", the file states.
The receipt of this considerable amount of money by the son, which turns out to have obtained this money from the illegal drug activity he is dealing with, has also led to the charge brought by SPAK against Erzen Breçan, for money laundering.
"For this reason, the citizen Erzen Breçani is suspected of money laundering, because it is suspected that he knows about the activity in which his son was involved. From the conversation, suspicions arise that the citizen Eralbi Breçani sent an amount of 350 thousand euros to Erzen Breçani before this conversation took place. In the continuation of the communication, Erzen Breçani explaining the situation to his son, that Ervin Mata does not ask for money. But if he needed money, he would ask his father, Luani, whom he refers to in the conversation as 'Lion'. He then communicates with her about details related to criminal activity.
Likewise, during the conversation, Erzen Breçani teaches her son how to communicate with Ervin Mata. "Erzen Breçani shows his son how to communicate with Ervin Mata and how to speak in a meeting by sending him the messages: '...I don't deal with anything. My great-grandfather made three million euros for five years, they left us with lek, with money, with clean work, and I will be good at making three million euros with my husband without drugs, without work you dirty, that's the truth and I said between us... Don't talk about drugs in his eyes because he's an infiltrator of the police in the criminal groups, I've asked since the first time...'.
From these texts sent by Erzen Breçani, doubts are created that he is aware of the activity that Eralbi Breçani carries out, when he sends the text 'don't talk to his face about drug work...'/BW
