As it turns out, the traffickers put the hashish in cans and then distributed it. The cannabis they traded was produced with bulbs and cost 3,000 Lek, three times more expensive than classic cannabis.
According to journalist Dorjana Bezat, the operation is still ongoing, while the people involved in this network distributed cannabis, cocaine and heroin.
This investigation started months ago, where the police investigated the connections of the people arrested earlier for distribution and discovered the other members. The court has issued over 100 restraining orders.

So far, 60 people have been arrested in the city of Vlora, who are suspected of distributing small amounts of drugs. There are also women among those arrested.
In the city of Elbasan, nine people were arrested and five others were declared wanted. Among those arrested is a police officer, Sajmir Hysa, who is accused of abuse of office and supporting the perpetrator of the crime.
In Korça, 20 people were arrested, in Fier four arrested and six under investigation, while in Bulqiza four people were arrested and five apartments were searched.
