A 22-year-old Albanian man has died after a knife attack in England. The BBC reports that the victim has been identified as Lorik Abazi , who was stabbed on Sunday.
British media reports that the incident took place in the Croydon area, south London. In connection with the incident, police have arrested two 25-year-old girls and a 28-year-old man on suspicion of involvement in the incident. One of the girls has been released on bail, while investigations continue.
According to the BBC, two 21-year-old men were also found with stab wounds and were arrested after an alleged altercation. One of them is in hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the other is in custody after receiving medical treatment.
The full circumstances of the incident remain unclear. British authorities have appealed to citizens who have information, footage or recordings that could help the investigation to submit them to the police.
In a statement to the media, the 22-year-old's family said through tears: "We, his parents, brother, girlfriend, grandparents, family and friends loved him very much. A light has gone out in our lives and we are devastated by his loss."
