A serious incident has been recorded in Austria, where a man of Kosovo origin is suspected of murdering his 38-year-old wife.
The crime took place on Sunday at around 6:30 p.m. in Sooß, in the municipality of Baden. The victim was found in the yard of the apartment with wounds caused by a cutting tool and a gunshot.
Police immediately arrested a 47-year-old man, who is suspected of being the perpetrator of the incident. He is in custody while investigations continue.
According to preliminary data, the couple had had repeated conflicts recently, but the motive for the crime has not yet been determined.
A pistol, suspected to have been used in the crime, was also seized at the scene. Authorities have ordered an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
