A 41-year-old Albanian was executed two days ago (May 22) in Greece, while new details about the serious crime come to light every day.

After the arrest of 46-year-old Mikel Selimaj, who is suspected of being the perpetrator who shot Albanian Altin Arapaj in the face, Greek police have placed 2 other people in handcuffs.

The two arrested were in the same vehicle with the victim and perpetrator when the crime occurred.

Greek police revealed the name of the perpetrator of the murder, 46-year-old Albanian Mikel Selimaj, after the victim had called his wife before he died and told her who shot him in the cheek.

The perpetrator was found by authorities in a daily rental apartment in the Glyka Nera area.

The owner of the apartment where the 46-year-old was staying had tried to contact him by knocking on the door, but received no answer.

The woman became concerned that the man might have passed out and tried to open the door, but to no avail. She immediately notified the police, stating that there might be an emergency.

Police officers arrived at the scene and rang the doorbell for about 20 minutes. When the 46-year-old opened the door, he was clearly under the influence of drugs.

Police officers immediately recognized him from the photo they had and handcuffed him. At the same time, authorities found the vehicle suspected of being used by the perpetrator, inside which a shell casing and traces of dried blood were found.

According to information, the perpetrator shot the victim inside the vehicle. At the same time, a second vehicle was found, which it appears he also used for his own transportation.

The victim, the alleged perpetrator and two other people met in Artemida before the crime. They got into a car driven by the alleged perpetrator of the murder and made a short stop in Rafina.

There, the perpetrator pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the face. The 41-year-old managed to leave the scene, call his wife and tell her what had happened, before taking his last breath.

After shooting the victim, the perpetrator fled in a car. Both the victim and the perpetrator were known to local authorities in the field of drug trafficking.
