Police have arrested two people in Tirana after, according to reports from the commission chairmen of the centers where they had voted, they photographed their ballots.
Hasan Doka and Redion Lelo are accused of the criminal offense of "Violation of the secrecy of voting".
"Following the preliminary information previously provided, that the services of Police Stations No. 3 and No. 4 had escorted to the Police premises, 2 citizens who, according to the reports of the chairmen of the commissions of the centers where they had voted, had photographed their ballots, we inform that:
Following the procedural actions regarding these cases, these 2 citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto, specifically HD, 57 years old, and RL, 28 years old, for the criminal offense of "Violation of the secrecy of voting".
"The procedural materials will be referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action regarding the cases," the Police announced.
