A serious incident occurred on Saturday morning in Ferizaj, Kosovo, where a 19-year-old man shot and wounded his 25-year-old sister.
The incident occurred on "Mejdi Xhaferri" street, where after the shooting, the young man left the scene, but was arrested after the rapid intervention of the police, and the crime weapon was also seized.
The injured woman received first aid at the Ferizaj Emergency Room and was then transported to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo in Pristina. Fortunately, her life is out of danger.
Investigations at the scene were conducted by the investigation team, while the motive for the incident remains unclear. The state prosecutor has been notified of the case, while investigations continue to fully clarify the circumstances.
" At around 10:00, the Police received information about an injury on "Mejdi Xhaferri" Street. According to initial data, the suspect EM, a 19-year-old Kosovar male, shot his 25-year-old sister, leaving her injured, and then left the scene. Thanks to the quick response of the police units, the suspect was located and arrested a short time later.
The victim received first aid at the Ferizaj Emergency Room and was then transferred for further treatment to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCK) in Pristina. Her life is out of danger. All necessary investigative actions have been carried out at the scene, while the firearm suspected of being used in the incident has also been seized.
"The motive for the incident has not yet been revealed. The state prosecutor has been notified of the case and investigations are ongoing ," Kosovo police announced.
