Today, the seven remaining candidates in the race for the position of new director of the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH) underwent the final phase of the competition.
Even this final phase of the test of the contenders for the leadership of the BKH has been supervised by foreigners, not only Americans and representatives of the EU, but also of ICITAP.
During the day, each of the candidates was questioned within the 45 minutes of available time, before a panel composed of the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, and Special Prosecutors Arben Kraja and Behar Dibra.
From a panel of three special prosecutors, who are divided due to preferences for certain names, the candidates were asked about their experience, vision, as well as technical questions about how the director would act on management and leadership issues.
The interview was the final stage after seven phases of testing, where candidates were evaluated through a wide range of criteria, including a logic test, a polygraph test, writing an essay, and other assessment phases.
With the completion of this phase, SPAK is now expected to make public the final announcement with the test results and the ranking of candidates.
Finally, candidates will undergo a process of verification of moral character and assets. At the end of this entire process, SPAK will propose a name to the High Prosecutorial Council for approval.
