30 defensive grenades are found in Ballë village of Ballaban Administrative Unit, Këlcyre. The police surrounded the place where the grenades were discovered by some workers while they were building a road in this village.
The police acted immediately, surrounding the place and creating a perimeter so that no one could approach. The place where the grenades were found is close to an apartment whose members have been evacuated.
The engineering forces are expected at the scene to operate further for their escape or controlled explosion. It is believed that the grenades are from the time of the Italo-Greek war.
