The police of Shkodra declared the two brothers, Nazmi and Basri Malaj, wanted after seizing a large quantity of narcotics, hidden in a tunnel built during the communist period.
The two brothers are suspected of being part of a narcotics trafficking network as earlier, the police have seized large amounts of drugs that lead mostly to the same information regarding the producers.
All doubts start from the fact that the drug is produced by the same hand, because even earlier, the police caught marijuana in the form of chocolate, again in Shkodër, on which the shape of a leaf was stamped.
The high quality of the marijuana as well as the logo make the police suspect that it is produced in the same country, and then groups from Shkodra are used to send it to Montenegro.
ACTION
A day ago, the police of Shkodra announced that in the framework of the "clean territory" and "temple 2" operation, they had seized 100 kilograms of marijuana-type drugs. 65.5 kilograms of it were in the form of ready-to-market chocolate with the logo on top, while the rest was in the form of a jar. Both quantities were seized inside a van near a tunnel of the dictatorship.
According to the police, the two Malay brothers are suspected as the people who were in charge of this criminal activity, while it is thought that it is a much wider criminal network than that with other people involved for whom the police are investigating.
The same hand
On December 6 of last year, as part of the "false image" operation, the police arrested 26-year-old Ragip Sula and, in addition to weapons and other illegal equipment, also seized a quantity of marijuana-type drugs, in the form of chocolate, again with the same stamp on the packaging. This has led the police to start investigations into a larger criminal group that deals with the production of this drug and then, through characters like the Malay brothers or others, distribute it inside and outside the country.
