The death of two Ukrainian citizens in Tirana marks the repetition of tragic cases where foreign girls have lost their lives in mysterious circumstances in Albania.
Like the Kenyan citizen, Joy Ayoko, who worked in a casino in Tirana and in August 2022 was found unconscious under her window, Antonina Kozachenko and Anastasia Lopukhova were sex workers near a casino in the center of Tirana.
"Ora News" learns that Kozachenko and Lopukhova arrived in Albania 4 months ago from Montenegro, where they work as sex escorts in the casinos of Budva and Kotor.
They are located in Tirana, becoming part of the tables of customers of a casino in Tirana. Investigations into this case of death have started 48 hours ago, where the police and the prosecutor's office of Tirana continue to be unclear on the causes and circumstances of the death of two Ukrainian citizens.
The first suspicions speak of drinking an overdose of depressant drugs, which are thought to have caused his death.
The preliminary examination concluded that the cause of death was an overdose of narcotic drugs. Meanwhile, the two victims suffered from heart disease and epilepsy.
Currently, the police have confiscated the telephones to learn about the last contacts and conversations that the two victims had.
Not more than two years ago, almost the same event with the sex workers of the casinos was repeated in Tirana, where the Kenyan citizen Joy Ayoko, was in a coma after being thrown from the window of her rented apartment.
Ayoko remained in a coma for several months at the Military Hospital and was then transported to Kenya, where she died.
The case is still under investigative treatment at the prosecutor's office in Tirana, while no one has been arrested for this incident.
