The trial for Laert Haxhiu, GJKKO appoints 2 lawyers from the state

The Special Court has appointed 2 more lawyers for the defense of Laert Haxhi, as the lawyer appointed earlier by the state, Pranvera Doçi, was revoked.

State lawyers will be Artan Simoni and Edvis Gorishti. Meanwhile, Pranvera Doçi said that due to a family disaster and due to the voluminous file, she could not follow the process. 

Meanwhile, Detar Hysi, the lawyer with a special power of attorney from the family members of Laert Haxhi, had his request to resign from the defense dismissed, while his non-appearance this Wednesday at the hearing was accompanied by an administrative penalty of 5 thousand new alleks.

The trial at the GJKKO was postponed to November 17 at 11:00 a.m., while one witness from the prosecution remains to be questioned and then it will be the turn of the defense witnesses.
