An apartment in Lezha was attempted to be robbed this morning. The event happened in the village of Merqi.
The police informs that the 52-year-old man was with cattle but when he returned he found 2 citizens in his apartment who he suspects had entered to steal.
The persons in question have just seen the owner of the apartment, they tried to leave, but while leaving they punched the head of the family and were unable to steal anything.
"Around 10:00, the citizen PN, 52 years old, announced that when he returned to his apartment, in the village of Mërqi, after being with cattle, he found in his apartment, 2 citizens who he suspects had entered for him stolen. As soon as they saw the PN citizen, the 2 citizens tried to leave. During their departure, they punched the PN citizen and were unable to steal anything.
Immediately after the announcement, the Police services went to the scene and continue combing the area with the aim of catching the perpetrators. Meanwhile, the investigative group continues its work to clarify the circumstances of this case", the police announced.
