A criminal group that was dealing with the sale of doses of the narcotic substance cannabis sativa, in different areas of the cities of Berat and Kuçovo, was hit by the police. 4 members of this criminal group have been arrested.
During the search, quantities of narcotic cannabis sativa, cold weapons and military ammunition were found.
" As a result of a two-month investigation, with proactive methods, within the coded police operation "Observation", citizens Jurgen Kollçaku, Gjergji Braha, Kleo Doko, Sherif Isaj were caught and imprisoned. From the evidence provided by this operation , the Court of First Instance of Berat General Jurisdiction has assigned to these citizens, the security measure "Arrest in prison", as they are suspected of acting in the framework of a criminal group dealing with the sale of doses of the narcotic substance cannabis sativa, in areas different cities of Berat and Kuçovo.
During the checks in the homes and vehicles of these citizens, quantities of narcotic substance cannabis sativa, 3 cold weapons (2 knives and 1 fist enhancer) and military ammunition were found. Investigative actions continue in order to identify and arrest other citizens who may be implicated in this criminal activity. "- announced the police.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Berat General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
