Yesterday evening, in Korça, 46-year-old Aleko Myrtollari stabbed his wife after a family conflict.
38-year-old Manjola Myrtollari was sent to the hospital in a serious state of health, while the police continue their search for the perpetrator.
The author of the incident left the apartment and was declared wanted by the police.
According to the neighbors, he did seasonal work in Germany and had previously committed violence against his wife due to the use of alcohol and jealousy.
It was a 16-year-old girl who, after returning to the rented apartment in district 10 of Korça, found her mother bleeding and notified the police. Meanwhile, the 46-year-old ran away after the crime and is being sought.
According to the information from the scene, it is said that the couple had been fighting for a long time. They left their lives in Tirana about a month ago to live in Korça, while it is learned that the husband was violent as he was also a consumer of alcohol.
He worked abroad for a few months, while his wife was unemployed.
