The police have given new details about the incident that happened yesterday evening in Korça where the father injured his son. It is reported that the 70-year-old man has been arrested.
The Blues announce that the 70-year-old, in a drunken state and for weak motives, stabbed his 40-year-old son in the hand with a knife. The latter has been granted a protection order.
As the 70-year-old had a conflict with his wife, the son intervened to end the conflict, but his father shot him with a knife.
"Following the preliminary information provided yesterday evening, regarding a family conflict, we inform you that the Korçë Police Station arrested in the act the citizen NP, 70 years old, a resident of Korçë, after he was in the apartment, in a drunken state, for reasons of weak, allegedly hit his 40-year-old son in the hand, with a knife-cutting tool, who was granted a protection order.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Korçë", the police announced.
