As a result of the controls, 1 citizen declared internationally wanted and 1 citizen declared nationally wanted were captured.
The structures of DVP Elbasan, in implementation of the measures drawn up within the police mega-operation coded "Rule of Law", based on the information provided during the operation, on the location of the 2 citizens in search, have intensified the controls for their capture and placement , before legal liability.
The Section for Narcotics Investigation, in cooperation with the Operational Force, caught and detained the citizen Ermal Nonaj alias Marvi Nonaj, 45 years old, resident of Elbasan.
The Turin Court of Appeal, with the decision dated 11.03.2021, has sentenced this citizen to 4 years and 4 months of imprisonment for the criminal offense "Trafficking in narcotics", provided for by the Italian Criminal Code. The procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy are continuing.
The services of the Elbasan Police Station arrested and detained the citizen A. Gj., 41 years old, a resident of Elbasan, after the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Vlorë, with the decision dated 04.05.2024, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Theft".
This citizen, in cooperation with the citizen Xh. Gj., on 01.09.2023, stole from the business of a citizen, the safe inside which contained 60,000 ALL and 500 euros.
Further actions for this citizen will be carried out by the structures of DVP Vlorë. "- announced the police.
