32-year-old Fatjon Mersini has been arrested by Tirana police after being wanted for 2 criminal offenses.
The young man was sentenced by the Tirana Court to 5 years and 6 months in prison for two criminal offenses. Mersini was sentenced to 5 years for "Production and sale of narcotics", as well as 6 months in prison for "Removal of a prisoner from his place of residence".
"A 32-year-old wanted man has been arrested and detained, sentenced to 5 years and 6 months in prison for two criminal offenses."
The services of Police Commissariat No. 3, in continuation of the work to capture wanted citizens and bring them to justice, based on information obtained through operational means, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Catch 1".
As a result of the operation, citizen FM, 32 years old, resident of Tirana, was captured and detained.
This citizen was declared wanted after the Tirana Court sentenced him to 5 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", as well as 6 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Removing a prisoner from his place of residence".
"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
