He had a restraining order issued in July 2023 by the Alexandria Public Prosecutor's Office.
The media informed that the Albanian was the last person on the list of a group of 'hawks' of 4 people, who from the end of 2019 to the first months of 2020, had committed dozens of house thefts and robberies in various provinces of Northern Italy , crimes for which he subsequently received a definitive sentence of 7 years and 6 months in prison.
The Italian police announced that they had received information that a wanted person was roaming in the area of Val Rendena. They found the wanted man in an accommodation facility in Pinzolo (hotel), where he was spending his holidays with his family.
After comparing his physical appearance with the photo distributed in the regions and the traces, it was confirmed that the 40-year-old was the exact person wanted and convicted, isolating him in custody.
The Albanian was taken further to Trento Prison, where he will serve the sentence given by justice, while his identity was not made public. Also, during the physical check and at home, approximately 2 grams of hashish were found hidden in a bag in the bedroom and therefore will be investigated for the additional criminal offense.
