The daughter-in-law of Gladis Mukë's uncle spoke to the media about the event that shocked their family. She said that they demand justice for their son. Among other things, she said that the 36-year-old had been working for a year at Shyqo Kalemi's bar, which is suspected to be the target of the assassination.
"We want justice for killing our innocent son. Working there, why. He didn't do other jobs, he always worked there, honest and hardworking. He had been working there for a year. He had good relationships, worked long hours. The boy was innocent, we barely raised him. We want justice. The son is killed without... there is nowhere for him to go. They were close friends with the other one who was killed, they went to school together," said the daughter-in-law of the victim's uncle to Top Channel.
36-year-old Gledio Muka and 47-year-old Marsel Çela happened in the wrong place and at the wrong time, since they had nothing to do with the assassination that targeted the businessman Shqyo Kalemi.
Gledio worked as a waiter in the bar where the incident took place and although it was past 11:00 p.m., he continued to serve customers who continued to consume drinks. One of them was Marcel Çela.
Both were victims of the assassination, which is suspected to be part of the wild saga of revenges that have started since 2022.
It is suspected that the murder was a revenge against Andrea Kalemi, the son of the victim Shyqo Kalemi, suspected of being involved in the murder of businessman Edmond Papa in December 2022, who earlier in 2022 allegedly eliminated with explosives Aleksandër Sadikaj, cousin of the Kalemi brothers, also businessman in Memaliaj.
