Participation in a structured criminal group and arms trafficking, the former RENEA operative is extradited from Germany

29-year-old Ardian Pikli, accused by GJKKO of participating in a criminal group and possession of firearms, has been extradited from Germany.

The measure against Pikli is set for May 2024.

Pikli is a former employee of RENEA who is suspected of being involved in arms trafficking.

His name is among the 50 arrest warrants of the "Revanshi" operation.

"A citizen accused by the GjKKO of participating in a structured criminal group, of possessing firearms, is extradited from Germany. As a result of continuous cooperation between Interpol Tirana specialists and counterparts in Germany, the 29-year-old AP citizen was extradited. The Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime, on 15.05.2024, assigned to this citizen, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition". committed within the framework of a structured criminal group. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the official announcement states.
