The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime (SCOC) has found guilty and sentenced seven foreign citizens, five Syrians and two Algerians, accused of involvement in a serious incident that occurred on May 25, 2023 in Morina, where gunfire was fired at police forces.
According to the investigative file, the defendants are suspected of being part of two structured criminal groups involved in the trafficking of clandestine persons, with activity in the territory of Albania and Kosovo.
The incident occurred during a police intervention in the border area of Morina.
The convicts are:
Sultan Grimash alias Sadaak Guremache alias Junes Alma is sentenced to 35 years in prison.
Ayoub Bahhoo is sentenced to 35 years in prison.
Muhammed Radën alias Muhamed Radouë alias Radvan Radvan is sentenced to 35 years in prison.
Rabi Lqadi alias Rabi El-Qadi is sentenced to 8 years in prison.
Muhammed Shehab alias Mohamed Al Uthman Shaab alias Mohamed Outman is sentenced to 35 years in prison.
Muhammed Nasir alias Nouh Graie is sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Nagid Alabdalah alias Abu Gira is sentenced to 8 years in prison.
