A 30-year-old man declared internationally wanted by the Spanish authorities has been arrested in Fier.
Etmir Pazaj is accused of cultivating significant amounts of cannabis indoors in the cities of Barcelona and Girona.
The Madrid court has assigned the 30-year-old, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal activities of cultivation and trafficking of narcotics, as well as theft of electricity, carried out within the criminal group.
"The coded police operation "Cities" for the capture of a citizen declared internationally wanted, on account of Spain, is finalized.
The operation, by the Traffic Police Sector and the Narcotics Investigation Section, after the exchange of information between Interpol Madrid and Interpol Tirana.

As a result of intensive tracking and locating actions for the capture of citizens declared international wanted, which are carried out based on police intelligence, within the mega-operation "Rule of Law" and thanks to the continuous exchange of information between the counterpart offices of Interpol, the coded police operation "Cities" was completed.
During the operation, the internationally wanted citizen EP, 30 years old, was located, captured and provisionally arrested, to be extradited to Spain.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Fier General Jurisdiction, for further actions," the police announced.
