The Greek police arrested a 35-year-old man from Vlora after he was wanted internationally by the Albanian authorities.
It is learned that it is about Joni Idrizi, who was arrested on "Liosion 300" street in Athens while drinking coffee near a car park.
The latter was declared internationally wanted by the Albanian police, convicted by a final decision by the Court. The Greek police informs that the search by the Albanian police is due to the breach of a security measure imposed by justice.
Joni Idrizi was previously convicted in 2012 as part of a criminal group in Vlora that committed armed robberies in banks, casinos and gas stations.
His brother Nardi alias Fatbardh Idrizi, 38 years old from Vlora, is wanted since December 2023 for injuring 3 young people from Crete. Two Idrizi brothers, their brother Leonard Idrizi, who was part of the "Çole" gang, was killed many years ago.
