Thanks to the detailed planning of operational actions, complete conspiracy, coordination of services and intensive work of police intelligence, the services of the Local Police Directorate of Shkodër, supported by those of the Special Department "RENEA", organized and finalized the police operation coded "History ".
The operation resulted in the location in the apartment where he was hiding, in the village of Kuç, the capture and neutralization of the wanted citizen Sh. Xh., 32 years old.
The 32-year-old, a citizen with a very high social risk, due to accusations/sentences for a variety of criminal offenses. Specifically, accused by the SPAK, within the "Metamorfoza" operation, of participating in a structured criminal group, wanted by the Shkodra Police, after in 2021, in cooperation with 2 other citizens, he fired a gun fire, citizens of TP and KM, as well as sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment, by the Court of Lezha, for the criminal offense "Introducing or keeping prohibited items in the institution of execution of prison sentences".
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Shkodër, for further actions," the police announcement states.
Who is Shkëlzen Xhenje?
Shkëlzen Xhenje is suspected of being one of the authors of placing a quantity of tritol against 34-year-old Bledar Çekorja, on January 28, 2014, in Shkodër.
For this event he was arrested and stayed in prison for 4 years and 8 months, while he was released benefiting from an amnesty at that time.
One month after his release, on February 18, 2017, Shkëlzen Xhenje was arrested for injuring Flutura Muça. The latter accused him that the assassination was ordered by Sadetin Sula, sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his ex-wife Suela Sula, the sister of the injured Flutura Muça. Xhenje denied having anything to do with this event.
On February 22, 2018, the former coach of Vllaznia, Ernest Gjoka, was attacked with a knife. Nehat Fojleta is suspected to be the author of this attack and Sehar Xhenje is suspected to be the person who drove the vehicle with which they left after the incident.
On February 21, 2021, the two brothers Xhenje and Esmerald Hato were suspected of being the perpetrators of the assassination of citizen Taulant Pepa. Sehar Xhenje declared from Italy that he was not in Albania and that he had fled to Italy for several days.
On September 2 of this year, Shkëlzen Xhenje is thought to be one of the people involved in the murder of Ismet Čekorja on behalf of Asmer Bilal, while no person has been declared wanted for this event due to lack of evidence.
On the other hand, it is learned that the victim had close social ties with Asmer Bilal. This is a name filed several times by Albanian authorities and justice. The deceased worked on the farm owned by Asmer Bilali, where he took care of his horses or different jobs he had.
