The Durrës police have arrested a 33-year-old man from the village of Borizane, as the author of placing explosives in a carpentry shop a few days ago.
It is learned that it is about the citizen Alban Qira, who has also planted explosives in this business before.
From the security cameras in the area, Alban Qira was filmed, in a pedestrian street, as he ignites the artisanal mine with the intention of throwing it in front of the joinery.
He is seen disguised in a hat and surgical mask, while taking care not to be seen by drivers on the road.
Meanwhile, the police seized 2 vehicles and 2 mobile phones of the 33-year-old, as well as masks and clothing suspected to have been used during the crimes.
"From the investigations, it is suspected that this citizen, previously convicted for crimes in the field of narcotics, is also the author of 2 other explosions in this business, carried out on 18.11.2023 and 07.03.2024", the police announced.
Fortunately, there were no injuries from the explosions, but only partial material damage.
