A bus caught fire overnight in the city of Kukes after it was allegedly doused with gasoline. Fortunately, the fire only caused material damage.
Meanwhile, the police are continuing their investigations to clarify the circumstances of the case and identify and apprehend the perpetrator(s).
"Kukës/On 30.09.2025, during the night, a fire broke out in the bus owned by citizen RH, 62 years old, resident of Tirana, suspected of being caused by the spillage of a quantity of gasoline, causing only material damage. Investigations are ongoing to clarify the circumstances of the case, identify and capture the perpetrator(s). The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action ," the police announced.
