They were seen by another compatriot, with whom they had a conflict, and it was he who notified the police. While they are looking for the robbery of 41-year-old businessman Tonin Preka.

The latter, a villa businessman in Mykonos, was robbed in November 2022 by two people, who took his bag with 40,000 euros, money that he was going to pay the staff. Yesterday afternoon, he spotted the two robbers right in the mall.

He immediately called the police about their presence, but Ndoci and Jaho saw him and signaled that they were armed, simultaneously running away.

During their escape from the shopping center, the perpetrators broke a window, resulting in the injury of a security employee, who tried to stop them.

Then they were noticed by the police officers, who called them for police control, but the suspects did not obey their orders and continued to try to escape.

24-year-old Gerald Jaho escaped on foot, but was stopped by police officers.

Meanwhile, 34-year-old Alfons Ndoci got into a vehicle to escape, he was chased by the police and the vehicle he was traveling in collided with parked vehicles and finally on "Kifisos" street, the 34-year-old left the vehicle and moved to foot, but managed to catch it.

During the personal check, two "Beretta" and "Sig Sauer" type pistols, 17 cartridges, 1 package of marijuana, 16,207 euros and coins of different countries were found and seized from the two Albanians. During the search of the vehicle, a pistol comb was found without cartridges.

From the preliminary investigations, it turned out that against 34-year-old Alfons Ndoci, an arrest warrant is in force for "robbery in collaboration" and 2 sentences in total of 3 years in prison for "arms possession by a prisoner" and for "theft" while 24-year-old Gerald Jaho has an arrest warrant in force for "robbery in collaboration".

In 2018 he escaped from the prisoner transport vehicle along with 3 other prisoners.

The incident happened in the port of Piraeus, where the transfer of 11 prisoners from Athens to Crete was being carried out. A few days later, he was again captured by the police, after an operation by the Greek special forces.
