A serious incident occurred in Saranda, where an elderly couple and their son were involved in a conflict that ended with the injury of a minor.
Criminal Investigation Specialists have arrested the 79-year-old man with the initials LB and his wife, PB, 73, in flagrante delicto. According to the police, it is suspected that for weak motives, the elderly stabbed a child in the hand, causing injuries.
In addition to attacking the minor, the couple also objected to the blue uniforms, disobeying the police order to accompany them to the police station.
In connection with this incident, criminal proceedings have also been initiated against the couple's son, citizen EB, 39 years old. He is accused of threatening the minor with a cutting instrument during the same conflict.
"Crime Investigation Specialists at the Saranda Police Station arrested citizens LB, 79 years old, and PB, 73 years old, spouses, residents of Saranda, in flagrante delicto, as they are suspected of having, for weak motives, injured a minor citizen in the hand with a cutting tool (knife), and of not having obeyed the order of the Police officers to escort them. In the context of this case, criminal proceedings were also initiated against citizen EB, 39 years old, (the couple's son), as it is suspected that he also threatened the minor with a cutting tool," the police statement said.
