Shocking details have come to light today from the disappearance of 41-year-old Albanian Gjeorgjia Murati in Thessaloniki. She was massacred with a knife, where the suspect for the incident is the Albanian woman's partner and his friend, who is suspected of having helped him commit the crime.
The 39-year-old partner and his 34-year-old friend face charges of manslaughter, termination of pregnancy, robbery as well as illegal possession of weapons and use of weapons.
The 39-year-old's mother spoke to the media and said she was devastated. She asks her son to confess.
"I could never have imagined that he would do such a thing. Why did he do it? That's what I want to know. I am devastated. I don't know what to say. I never thought my child would do such a thing. Condolences to the family" , she said initially speaking for Star.
Georgia was a 13-year-old mother and expecting her second child when she was killed.
"When I found out I went crazy, I said there was no way he could do it. It's a terrible crime, what can I say to this mother, this 13-year-old boy? No mother should feel the pain this woman is feeling right now. I argued with everyone, I said it is impossible that my child did it, but now he will listen to me. As harsh as this may sound. I want him, if he will listen to me where he is, to confess, because now all the evidence is against him. Why did he do it?", she added.
"I am shocked. My condolences to the family, I have nothing else to say. I didn't expect something like this" , said his sister.
The 39-year-old and the 34-year-old will appear at the prosecutor's office tomorrow.
