Genc Maloku, the father of Andi Maloku who lost his life in the assassination attempt on former prosecutor Arjan Ndoj at the Shkozet overpass, has told the GJKKO details of the incident.
News24 journalist Klodiana Lala, reporting from the courtroom, said that Maloku had told her that his son had called him after he had been shot, telling him that he was sorry, adding that he initially thought it was all a joke.
"Arjan Ndoja was a prosecutor in Durrës at that time. On the day of the incident, I was at home, and my son himself picked me up: "I'm sorry, Dad," he said, "they've hit me."
It was 4:00-5:00. At first I thought it was a joke.
I went to the military hospital, not to the scene.
I communicated with the boy. He told me that they had been to a restaurant before, the boy was outside. The prosecutor and Rrumi were in the vehicle with the boy.
"After the incident, I met with the prosecutor, after he came to my apartment. After 7 days, the boy passed away. Rrumi told me at first that Plarent Dervishi had shot him," he said.
Meanwhile, Maloku has indicated that he has held meetings with Redjan Rraja's family members.
"Three elders have come, one with the surname Boja, an old man. Don't have any conflicts until the matter is resolved. That's what they told me. The first meeting was held in Tirana, the next meeting was held in Sukth. The conversation was that we should wait for the truth to come out first," he said.
He also testified that at the door of the apartment they had handed him a USB, showing Redian Rraja in a hat and another person.
"I know Halit Valter. I asked him to meet me. I gave him a USB. He was an MP at the time. They brought it to me under my door in a USB envelope, shortly after the event. I opened it, it was Redjan Rraja with a hat. There was also a kerosene lamp. I destroyed the USB. The authors are Redjan Rraja. They have come out. I myself know that the authors are these. Plaurent Dervishaj, I don't know Juljan, I know Vulnul Muça. I know because I grew up there, he is Rrumi's brother. I destroyed the USB," he said.
