A major police operation has been carried out by the Greek special forces in the prison of Ioannina. The EKAM and MAT special forces, together with the Internal Control Service, intervened in the prison from 06.00 in the morning to execute several arrest warrants as well as to carry out checks for drugs, weapons, etc. It is learned that the arrest warrants are for people inside and outside the prison, including police, guards and officials.
