Corruption and abuse of office, three police officers are arrested in Vlora and Fier

The Police Supervision Agency has arrested three officers of the Traffic Police, two in Vlora and one in Fier for corrupt actions. 

In Vlora, Eldo Shyti and Granit Nuraj were arrested, after taking 30,000 ALL bribes to avoid suspending their license.

In Fier, Klisman Çela was arrested, who was taking bribes in order not to fine drivers.

" The Police Surveillance Agency (Vlora-Gjirokastër Region) has carried out the arrest in flagrante delicto of Police Officers Inspector E. SH and Inspector GN, with the duty of the Service Corps in the Eagle Special Force in DVP Vlora.

Their arrest was made after the report received by two Dutch citizens, who on 15.09.2023, around 6:30 p.m., were stopped in the city of Vlora for violating traffic rules. The ban was carried out after he committed corrupt actions with vehicle drivers by not punishing them with administrative measures.
