Two people have been arrested by Lezha police, accused of committing several thefts.
52-year-old Sokol Pali and 51-year-old Marjan Kelaj, both residents of Shkodra, were arrested in flagrante delicto after they robbed 2 stores and 1 service station yesterday. The police have also solved 6 cases of theft in apartments, previously committed by these citizens.
During searches of their homes, the police found and seized as material evidence, items suspected of being used to commit the thefts and items suspected of being stolen.
"Yesterday, 2 stores and 1 service station were burglarized, 2 citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto.
6 more cases of residential theft, previously committed by these citizens, were solved.
Specialists of the Crime Investigation Section of the Lezha Police Commissariat, following intensive investigative actions to solve cases of property theft, identify and arrest the perpetrators, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Shades", as a result of which citizens SP, 52 years old, and MK, 51 years old, both residents of Shkodra, were arrested in flagrante delicto.
Yesterday, it is suspected that these citizens have stolen, by breaking and entering, amounts of money, work equipment and various products, from 2 stores in the village of Blinisht and 1 service station in the village of Dajç.
From further investigative actions, 6 cases of residential theft, previously committed by these citizens, have been uncovered.
During the searches in the apartments of citizens SP and MK, the Police services found and seized as material evidence, items suspected of being used to commit thefts and items suspected of being stolen.
"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction, Lezha, for the criminal offense of "Theft", committed in collaboration, repeatedly," the police announced.
