Two Albanians have been convicted by a court in Wales after they were caught cultivating and selling narcotics.

It is reported that Alfred Perkola, 44, was sentenced to 45 months in prison, while Aldi Gjegjaj, 25, was sentenced to 36 months.

Specifically, the two Albanians were found guilty of drug trafficking, while it turned out that a facility that had previously served as an elementary school had been turned into a bar.

Foreign media also write that on July 4, 2024, police officers stopped two vehicles suspected of transporting cannabis.

The Volvo and a rented van were stopped and searched, while officers discovered approximately 100kg of cannabis with a street value of £1 million.

Officers also arrested Perkola and Gjegjaj, and later discovered the cannabis cultivation facility. Further investigations also led to the seizure of another 956 cannabis plants.
