
Two people were arrested in Fier as part of the police operation codenamed "Peshtani".
According to the police, Tonin Qalliaj and Lintor Ramushaj ended up in handcuffs. They, in cooperation with each other, had cultivated drugs in a forest area of the village of Peshtan.
The police destroyed 295 narcotic plants that were cultivated on the land of one of the arrested.
Meanwhile, 1 shotgun and 6 mobile phones were seized.
"In implementation of the measures of the operational plan "Clean Territory", the services of the Fier Police Station have finalized the "Peshtani" operation, as a result of which, based on the information provided during the operation, 1 case of plant cultivation was hit narcotics in a forest area, in the village of Peshtan, Fier. For this case, citizens TQ, 57 years old, and LR, 35 years old, both residents of the village of Peshtan, were arrested red-handed, as they allegedly cultivated narcotic plants in the land owned by citizen TQ in cooperation with each other.
Also, during the search in the residence of the citizen TQ, the police services found 1 shotgun that he possessed without a permit, which was seized as material evidence, together with 6 mobile phones", the police informs.
