Other footage has been published from the moment of the arrest of the perpetrator of the murder of Judge Astrit Kalaja at the Court of Appeals. 

The footage shows the perpetrator of the murder, Elvis Shkambi, standing with his hands in his pockets, chatting with the court doorman and then inviting the police to arrest him. 

Over 10 police officers, including those from the Traffic Police, the Security Forces and the Eagles, handcuff the executioner Elvis Shkambi and his uncle Gjon Shkambi. 

After the incident, Elvis Shkambi left the courtroom and handed the weapon to the security guard, who was assigned to supervise and oversee the progress of court proceedings, in another courtroom.

Immediately after Judge Astrit Kalaja gave the verdict, he was shot dead with three bullets in the chest by 30-year-old Elvis Shkambi.

Shkambi and his family were in court over a property issue in Shkodra.
