A photo of Adi Çoba, one of the leaders of the criminal group that was destroyed in Durrës by Albanian and Italian authorities, has been published.
According to investigations by Italian authorities, Adi Çob is the leader of the organization that procured and sent large quantities of heroin and cocaine to Italy from abroad. He coordinated and directed from Albania the activities of other members of the organization, both Albanian and Italian.
The Italian file states that Adi Çoba, "in his capacity as the head and promoter of the association, received and sent to Italy couriers bringing large quantities of heroin and cocaine, supplied from Albania and the Netherlands through the illegal activity of other members of the association;
PRESI Ergiels, FIORE Massimiliano, GANAJ Agron, KIPTIU Nuredin, BUONSANTE Andrea, MONTEDORO Giovanni, each knowingly and actively carried out functions of storing and selling narcotic substances coming from abroad, for profit purposes, also having specific tasks in receiving large quantities of narcotic substances in the ports of Albania and the Netherlands, storing them and then distributing them in Italian territory, as well as administering the relevant payments and logistics;
STERLICCHIO Michele, ZANZARELLI Giovanni, CAPUTI Francesca and MAZZUTI Luisa, in addition to being actively involved in supporting the above criminal structure and directly benefiting from its activity, helped in the storage and processing of narcotic substances and acted as support points for members of the association operating in the territory of the provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Lecce; all the defendants relied on the collaboration of Albanian couriers who, knowing the illegality of the cargo, brought hard drugs to Italy through regular international road transport lines, also benefiting from the collaboration with organized criminal groups operating in more than one country, such as Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy.
In the wiretaps, Çoba is also mentioned by the nickname Bisha, while in Durrës his "Felix Vinum" bar was seized.
