
A 57-year-old woman was arrested in Mamurras after being caught with cocaine.
According to the police, Marjana Gjini sold doses of cocaine in the town of Mamurras and surrounding areas.
During the physical search of the 57-year-old woman and the search of the vehicle she was using, the police found 34 doses of suspected cocaine, a sum of money (euro and lek) and 2 cell phones, which were seized as material evidence along with the vehicle.
"After two months of investigations using proactive methods, the police operation codenamed "Traces" is finalized, to crack down on the criminal activity of selling hard drugs in doses. 34 doses of cocaine, a sum of money, a vehicle and 2 cell phones are seized.
The Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Operational Support Investigation Section, as a result of investigations conducted with proactive methods, over two months, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, finalized the police operation codenamed "Traces", as a result of which the citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto:

During the physical search of this citizen and the search of the vehicle she was using, the Police found 34 doses of suspected cocaine, a sum of money (euro and lek) and 2 mobile phones, which were seized as material evidence along with the vehicle.
Investigations are ongoing to fully document this criminal activity and to identify other citizens who may be involved. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Lezha, for further action, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", the police announced.
