A 25-year-old man was arrested in Mirdita, after robbing a cashier of the daily fare. Emirjan Deda, a resident of Laç, was arrested.
The incident happened around midnight, when the 25-year-old hit the ticket booth of a Tirana-Prishtina bus on the back of the head.
Then he robbed the 675 euros that the biller had in his bag, the daily turnover. It was the 31-year-old cashier himself, who reported the robbery to the police and then Deda was arrested.
"Immediately after the report of a 31-year-old citizen, the biller of the "Tirana-Pristina" bus line, that around midnight, a citizen had hit him on the head in order to take his belt bag, with money in it, the services of the Commissariat of the Mirdi Police organized the work to identify and arrest the author.
As a result, within the police operation coded "Line", the Police services, based on the information provided by the police intelligence, made it possible to identify and arrest the suspected author of the case, citizen Emirjan Deda, 25 years old, resident in Laç", informs the police.
The stolen money has been seized, while the 25-year-old is charged with "theft with violence".
