A serious event took place in Bologna, Italy, with 4 Albanian citizens as protagonists, who kidnapped and raped a 33-year-old man, also of Albanian nationality.
The Italian media reports that the incident took place between August 18 and 19 last year, where the young man was kidnapped for 16 hours, raped and the perpetrators tried to strangle him with an electric cable.
The reason is suspected to be a debt history that one of the kidnappers had with the 'victim's' cousin.
Arrested for the incident are three Klejdo Islamaj, 26 years old, Lorenc Proshka, 38, Dardi Rapaj, 26 years old and Arbër Budani, 28 years old.
The testimony of the 33-year-old kidnapped
"We want 60 thousand euros from your cousin", they shouted. They threatened me with a gun, tied my hands and forced me to get into the car - the 33-year-old told the police last October. First, they left me for hours in a garage, with Lorenci, while they were looking for my cousin, I remembered that place. I had been there years ago, always with a group of mutual friends".
Investigations by the police
Investigations have focused particularly on the number plates of the vehicles used by the kidnappers to trace the route taken. The testimony of a fifth person, who is currently not under investigation, is crucial. The 33-year-old victim was found on the side of the road by a person, but not by chance. According to the police, this person seems to be a "friend" of the victim, but possibly also connected to the kidnappers.
