The 42-year-old Mirdash Osmani, arrested for stealing a car in the capital, is not an unknown name to the police.
It is learned that even earlier, it turns out that Osman has stolen cars, which he mainly takes to sell for parts at his service station in his hometown. The tracking of the stolen car in Astir by the agents of Police Station no. 6 was made from surveillance cameras.
Police sources indicate that Osmani was wearing the same clothes at the time of his arrest, which convinced the police more that he was the author of the car theft. The 17-year-old son is also at large in the investigation, who removed the server of the service's camera images and threw it away, with the intention of hiding it, but the police were able to find it.
Referring to the same sources, Mirdash Osmani used a special technique to steal vehicles, mainly in Tirana, which he then sold for parts in Gjorica. Initially, he rented the cars and copied their keys, but returned them to the owners on time.
He stole the car, for which he used to make copies of the keys, 6 months or 1 year later, just as he did in the last case. As can be seen in the footage of the security cameras distributed by the police, Osmani opens the car with ease and then leaves.
It turns out that he stole about a year ago in Kamez, but also in the territory of Commissariat no. 4. Police sources indicate that he is known as a very problematic person and is suspected to be involved with some exponents of criminal groups that are mainly based around the area where he lives.
