A tragic accident occurred yesterday afternoon on the "Tepelena-Benç" road axis, where a 25-year-old man lost control of the motorcycle he was driving.
Sources indicate that 25-year-old Ergest Qenani, a resident of Tepelena, while riding a motorcycle, collided with metal barriers on the side of the road.
The collision was severe, resulting in fatal consequences for the young man, as he sustained head injuries and was unable to survive, dying on the spot.
"Yesterday afternoon, on the "Tepelena-Benç" road, citizen EQ, 25 years old, while driving a motorcycle, is suspected of losing control, falling and as a result being injured and taken to hospital for medical assistance.
The 25-year-old died in hospital in the evening as a result of his injuries, despite medical assistance.
"The investigation team is carrying out actions to clarify the circumstances and cause of the accident," the police announced.
