The body of an Albanian woman was found in November 2023 walled in the walls of the apartment where she lived with her Italian ex-partner, Marco Romeo in Spain.
The latter, who was arrested in Spain for the murder of the mother of his son Paula, has sent a letter to the court, where he says that in prison "he has a very close relationship with God and is totally remorseful".
Regarding the murder of Sibora Gagan, who grew up and was educated in Italy, Romeo insists that he was not responsible for her death, while he admits that he hid the body found by the police wrapped in a plastic bag and in a wooden box walled in wall. Marco Romeo also says in this case that he regrets "having done such a despicable thing". Sibora Gagani was 22 years old when she was killed in 2014 and was murdered by Marco Romeo.
Journalist Alba Kepi, who lives in Italy, has shown that Romeo denies to the authorities that he killed Sibora, but he walled her up in the apartment to avoid problems with the authorities. Regarding Sibora's family members, the journalist says that they are very affected and that before her daughter's body, Elisabeta's mother, did not stop going to shows to look for her daughter.

He said that when he visited his daughter in 2014 in Spain, he saw a very tense atmosphere between the couple and he told her all the time that he was living with "your father", because the age difference was big. Your mother had seen that only Sibora worked, he did not. All her worries are verified by Romeo's confession. What has affected the Italian public is that Elisabeta, Sibora's mother since 2014 until November 2023 when Sibora's body was found, has not stopped appearing in these popular shows, she has often been invited to look for her daughter. I know that a few months ago, in November, they took Sibora's body back to Italy and performed the funeral ceremony. A painful story that shocked not only the Italian public, but also the Albanian community ," said journalist Alba Kepi.
